Amenities
We offer a comprehensive range of medical, personal, and social services coordinated to meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of you or a loved one. Our facility, services, and staff are suited to provide 24-hour care to those who are chronically ill or disabled. We have joined the culture change movement to transition our health care institution into person-centered home, because that is what we want Pleasant Manor to be to its residents—their home.
"Home is the most popular, and will be the most enduring of all earthly establishments."
-Channing Pollock

Home-like environment
Residents are encouraged to personalize their room. We provide the bed, closet space, and television. Each room is equipped with an individually-controlled air conditioning system that can be controlled by the resident.
Dining room
Living room
Lounge porch
Restaurant-style dining
We call it "Pickett Fence Cafe," because our dietary department provides three resident-planned meals each day. Our kitchen prepares scheduled meals, but each resident may order different food, of their choosing, from our menu.
Beauty shop
On Thursdays a licensed cosmetologist comes to Pleasant Manor to style resident's hair in our on-site beauty salon.
Transportation
Pleasant Manor is equipped with two wheelchair-accessible vans, which are used to transport residents to medical appointments as well as other activities such as shopping, going to the movie theater, dining out, and much more!
Pets
We allow residents to have small animals. On average, we house two to three small dogs. Pets stay with the resident in their room but occasionally roam the halls during the day.
Activities
Each day we have two to three activities for all residents to participate, such as bingo. Our activity staff view each resident as an extension of their own families. They strive daily to create and provide a full spectrum of therapeutic activities to enrich our resident's daily experience.
